ZF has unveiled an advanced optical multi-gigabit ethernet system designed to enhance data communication in next-generation software-defined vehicles (SDVs). The system, which is based on the supplier’s ProAI high-performance computing platform, supports data transfer speeds ranging from 2.5 Gbit/s to 50 Gbit/s over distances of up to 40 meters.
